Adjacent to the Peak District National Park, the town lies in the shadow of the stunning beauty of the Pennine hills with the famous Pennine Way cutting across the adjoining heather-covered moors. Though surrounded by natural beauty, the hotel is only a short drive from the major towns and cities of Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Bradford and Wakefield, making it an ideal venue for a relaxing break or business conference.
The welcoming bar lounge, with its genuine oak beams, large open fireplace and antique red brickwork, is famed for its generously proportioned bar meals and wide selection of superb cask beers and malt whiskies.
Our function room is perfect for training days, board meetings or a private function. Our bright and airy conference suite can accommodate up to 60 people and is easily adapted to suit your requirements.
